pics of front coil overs installed?
I'm looking for some pics of different types of front coil overs installed. I installed mine today and I'm waiting on my sway bar links from Em and I'm seriously wondering if I'm still going to have to move my sway bar forward anyway....

My EM ends gave me about 1/2" clearance, without having to move sway bar. My springs are a smaller diameter and I have the early design of A arm, so probably comparing apples to oranges.
There are some pics in my thread, might add some insight.

My Van Steel coil overs rubbed slightly so I took the stock end links, cut the side that made contact w/ the spring, re-positioned it 1/4" inward and had it welded (both pcs obviously). Painted them black and they look and worked great. No other mods needed to make the Van's CO's work for me.

I like the Van Steel coil overs because the shock piston rod is inverted.
I've only seen a few companies offer a kit with the inverted piston rod. It just looks like a better design to me.

Sorry for the picture quality. My set up is Van Steel's coil overs, their 32 MM sway bar with poly bushings and EM's front sway bar heim links. The only issue I had was bar end to spring clearance. My fix was to round the square edges of the bar with a grinder. So, as far as I know I have a solid bar. It's also mounted in the stock location. Now I have at least a 1/2 inch of clearance. Also, I used my hydraulic jack and checked suspension travel upon final installation.
The EM heim links will be angled toward the wheels when viewed from the front of the car. They will not be straight up and down when installed.
One problem I didn't realize until later, installing the larger sway bar was causing my procharger rubber intake hose to collapse at WOT. Finally causing a rich condition. It's something I've since fixed, but to be aware of if you run the same setup.

Can I get some outside measurements of your springs?

Thanks! My sway bar is crazy close and my spring OD is 3.5.... My car is in a shop getting some other work done. When I get it home and get the EM sway bar links, I will be doing more R&R and see if I can get the stuff to work together. Quick question, How do you guys like your coilovers compared to stock C4 suspension? Any major plus"s or negatives?

Here some old pics of my install of DRM Coilovers with hyper coil springs with the FX-3 system retained. Adding a guldstrand front sway bar relocating block as pictured makes a lot more room. I have also upgraded the trailing arms (dog bones) to Banski since these were taken as well. Good time to consider poly everything while you are there as well. GC

^^ That looks nice. I am waiting for banski to get my kit together for my car. Seems they are a little delayed on orders.
Here is a quick prelim pick of my Vi-King dual adjustables installed on my car. I put them on right before I sent her back in for some other goodies that I cant fab myself. I am still waiting for the EM sway bar links but I did get a new cam more to my liking for my blower today! Woo-hoo!
