1984 C4 Coolant temp sensor
the parts store can sell the coolant temp sensor, so
I know what it looks like but i cant find it on the engine. Can anyone show me where it is. Is it under of behind the water pump.
Could this be a problem for hard start?

It can cause a hard start. The ECM richens the mixture when the coolant is cold and that won't happen if the ECM thinks the coolant is hot.
