Guys in a freak accident my computer for my 93 auto got damaged. It has the code BDBK 4779 on it. Do I need to get that same one for it to work or can I get another that will work? Also where is the best place to find one? Please dime in. Thanks

James,
I should have been more clear. It was the memcal that I damaged. The ECM is ok.
You would like the same PROM codes that you have presently. I would think that shouldn't be difficult but you'll either need to post WTB here or have reasonably good luck in a salvage situation. In a salvage situation you would likely need to purchase the ECM also. A used ECM should likely have a label still on it with the code.
You need to watch buying PROM from someone that mentions they can do one for you. You need a "correct" PROM to start with, not the same code but the same base hardware.
