Default Seats?

I have a 1990 with the "sport" seats, lumbar support and all that . I would rather have a basic seat, so my question what would be a bolt in set of seats could I get?

Any advice and or links would be kindly appricated.

The standard C4 (non-sport) seat would be the easiest swap to make.

Keep and eye on this forums "For Sale" section , seats come up fairly often on there... Also Ebay has them once in a while ...WW

You should be able to swap out the factory Sport seat covers and cushions for the Base seats and new foam cushions. Just don't hook up all the Lumbar connections.

The cushions simply snap into the plastic seat back and fit into the seat base if they are like my 1993.

I bought new seats from this place for both my 1993 and 1994 Verts.

http://corvettepartsworldwi3-px.rtrk...s_p/423020.htm

Seat bottoms and backs for the 1993 came with the leather covers and seat cushions ready to install. Backs are held in place with a wire frame to hooks mounted to the plastic seat back. Seat bottom simply drops in and hooks in the front the the seat base.

I switched out the 1994 Sport seat covers and cushions for Base Model (liked the styling better) and the power seat bases work fine as well as the Lumbar Supports.

Larry, should you opt to go with the Base Seats don't Cut the wires for the Sport seats. Unplug them from the motor and put them away just in case you or a future owner ever want to go back.

I will likely go with the base seats, and cover them in cloth or even seat covers. I wont cut any wires and will have a shop cover the "bolster" or the piece that gets torn up on the drivers seat, and keep the sport seats uncase I ever sell the car.

My car is all original except for the radio, Ill do the seat project first and may get a carpet kit at the same time, and later get a original radio. Unfortunately car money is a little tight right now and I just spent 250$ for injectors and 300plus $ on paint for another project. Im a fanatic about cars being original, but I simply don't like the seats in my vet.
