Default Window Sticker

Found my Original Window Sticker sandwiched in a 1994 new Car brochure that I had saved. I probably though it would stay nice there when I bought the car 20 years ago. I guess it is working. It is in perfect shape.

I have my 1995's, I will have to post a picture when I get back from my current trip. If only the C7 had sticker prices like this. My C7 convertible will list for $62,000. This is before the price hike. Current price adds another $2,000.

It is sad to think that the Chevy traverse I bought in 2011 cost more new than my 1994 vette.
I think of that when I know I can't use the vette for transporting the kiddos, and in a snowstorm.

Remember in the 90s our currency actually had some value. (remember 1.00 a gallon for 93 octane?! AND it wasn't watered down with Ethanol )
A 36,000 dollar car back then is probably more like 60,000 in 2014 dollars.

Default origonal docs

When I bought my 94 the origonal (first owner for 17 years) passed along the window sticker, 46,269.00, a VHS tape about the 94 model and handwritten notes between him and Rick Hendrick about price negotiations. It was purchased at his Carolina dealership. Was interesting reading and viewing when I was able to find an old VHS player!

close - based on inflation $36K in 1990 is equivalent to $64,429.81 in todays dollars. considering all the improvements, a $65K 2014 corvette is a better bang for the buck than a $36K corvette back in 1990 - inflation adjusted that is...

Thanks for sharing you picture of your window sticker! I wish I had mine for my 94. I did however have the opportunity to talk with the original owner of my 94 and he shared some stories about the purchase of the car. Was a really nice guy. I plan on ordering the window sticker from the NCM however. Hoping I can ge tone for my 84 as well.
