Default 1992 Wheels

I am looking into repalcing the wheels that came with this 1992 I recently bought, what came with it are 17" with similar tire front and rear. The wheels has the turbine blade design to the, I found a set of used wheels with five spoke what appears to be powder coated with the polish aluminum outer ring.

The rear set appears to be wider than the front with P315/35ZR17, the front wheels have P275/40ZR17. Will these bolt on directly of do I need a spacer? The car is white, if anyone have this wheel on their car. Can you share some photos so I can see what they look like on. Thank you.

These are the stock wheels for a 1992, and are called sawblades. The rear wheels are 9.5 inches wide while the fronts are 8.5 inches wide. Any stock size and offset wheel from a newer C4 or C5 Corvette will fit with no spacers, such as these C5 wheels I put on my 1992.

I think that you will find that the '92 came with 17x9.5 rims and
275/40/17 tires on all four corners.

If you are mounting tires on 'sawblade' rims, the rear rims in the photo are mounted incorrectly. They should all rotate in the same
direction.

You are correct. The 1993 and later had the different size wheels. The photo was taken just after I bought the car and had not gotten the rear wheels installed properly.

Thank you! I am looking into getting a set of the C6 five spoke chorme wheels in 18", that I don't need to worry about any spacer.

Just be aware that changing from a 275/40/17 to a 275/40/18 tire your speedometer will not be calibrated to the new size.....
when your speedo reads 60mph, you are actually traveling 62.3 mph.

My 1993 had original offset rims. the previous owner put on 275/40/17 on all four corners. I suppose so they could be rotated. I thought about going back to the original, but I'm sticking with the 275s on all fours.
