1993 is the 40th anniversary.. Should have 40th on the seat head rest. The Ruby Red is the True anniversary model.

Yes and no. All 93's mark the 40th Anniversary on the seat (except base black cloth). So they are all the actual ones.

Then there's the Anniversary Package, RPO code Z25, which includes the Ruby red metallic paint. Cost was $1455 and 6,749 units were made. Also included in the package was ruby red sport seats, power driver seat, special wheel center trim & emblem.

The 1993 40th Anniversary Package Corvette RPO: Z25 looks like this:

Ruby Red exterior paint, and interiors.

Other colors have the 40th fender badge installed at the dealer or done by customers. That badge adds no value to the car.

They all say 40th anniversary cars but the true 40th are the ones like PLRX posted.

When looking for my current 35th Anni I used asking prices in Auto Trader to aid my search.

Once you have a ball park figure then it amounts to weighting that number vs the value placed on the item that you might trade for the car.

BTW, it is NOT a 40th Anni w/o the other RPO features.

I personally only recognize the Ruby as the 40th Anniversary car.

Ruby Ruby Ruby. I drooled when you where made and I didn't make enough to buy you. I patiently waited and and on my 40th I got my 40th.

Every option available, 1 owner, has every repair, service, and part replaced logged in a detailed log. It was as if the owner knew they where just taking care of her till I could buy her.

Shes got some age on her, just like me, but I'm fixing her up and patching the few blemishes she has.

Mine is fairly stock, has Gold Badges instead of chrome. Muffler delete is really the only other modification.

Ruby's were the most over produced 93's of all the colors. Not a very good color either. I would not let anyone tell you because it's a ruby it is worth more than the red one you are looking at. Just my .02

By the way mine says 40th all over it, it's just white on white instead of ruby on ruby. Would not trade mine for two ruby's

Yours looks pretty nice, but just like you, I wouldn't take 2 of any color for my Ruby.

I think the Ruby looks way nicer in person then in pictures.
I also agree I don't think the Ruby is really worth more then any other 93. I just have one of the more rare builds with my options. Less then 2K.
