'92 conv 6 sp about 75K miles all stock. A/C in auto mode fan blows max speed all the time. Can be manually selected lower. Ran A/C codes and parameter 9 says 33. Full hot ?...it seems the in-car temp sensor shows hot and forces the fan to full no matter what temp is selected. Outside temp sensor reads pretty close to ambient. Found a used replacement sensor.
How in the world do you access the sensor ? It's between the pax A/C louvers. Please don't tell me you have to remove the dash !
When the AC is on, the fans are suppose to turn on.
Thank you for reply. I meant the a/c fan in the car. In auto mode the fan speed will vary according to a few variables. In auto mode mine seems stuck at level 10 since the in-car temp sensor keeps telling the system its hot. Yes, both radiator fans run or cycle as they are supposed to be.
Anyone know how difficult it is to replace the in-car temp sensor ?
