Default Hood / Door Alignment

I know this is not to far off, but it bugs me. Hood is a little high. The hood needs to be adjusted, can it be done? Car has never been hit, I am the Original Owner.

What is the molding alignment like for the door molding to quarter molding at the rear? What is the rear door to quarter gaps?

Man I wish mine looked that good....You can adjust the post inside the spring to move it down just a small amount to get the hood and door at the left side of the molding perfect....This should close the gap a little bit on the upper point of the hood and move the hood closer to the molding..It really doesn't need much ,(maybe 1/16th)... Worth a try, but yours looks real good compared to most I have seen already..You may have to adjust the rubber bumper under the hood also....The problem is, when you chance one gap, other gaps in other areas change also.....WW

Judging from the picture...wider at the top, the way to align the hood would be to add a small shim to the right hood hinge . You would also need to check the driver side gap. This would also most likely require realigning of the hood bumper gap/height. I would leave it. WW7's idea of adjusting the latch and stop would be a good way to go too.

I think this is the way to go. The door alignment is good. It is the hood. Just wanted to check before I tried anything. Thanks...

Ok... The adjustment is on the spring. The rubber stop is used to take the slack out. I have it a little low, but the seam is much better.
