Is the lower part of the dash also black? If you look at the pic I posted the mine is red as it should be in a red interior car should be.

The SPID label certainly shows that the car came with the red interior.

It's entirely possible that some previous owner didn't like the red/black combination and swapped the interior pieces. It's not a hard job to do but certainly would have cost some money if the components were purchased. It could also be that the interior parts were swapped by two GS owners. Do the seat backs have the "Grand Sport" wording embroidered on them?

Does the window sticker say anything about the interior color? Color choice was part of the ordering process so I would think there should be a "No Charge" line item on the option listing.

I would guess that a PO likely enjoyed the "money" that the swap of the pieces brought to him.

Window sticker for "No Charge" would likely just show the Grand Sport Seats in the pricing items, but top left the engine, transmission, exterior color and the interior color should be displayed.

Yes they do have the "Grand Sport" wording embroidered on them and on the window sticker it says red/blk.

Is it possible to get original seat covers? Other wise I think I will just keep the grand sport black ones I have and maybe someday, 10 years from now I can find an original red interior
