still amazes me how few bugs ever hit the windshield. they come up over the hood and pop over the windshield like a roller coaster ride. yes, small things make me happy!
you must drive it mostly during the day and not around any woodlands or swamps.
just sayin.........
That goes in most countries
Here in Australia i have had my windshield and bumper get covered with many bugs.....
Dawn and Dusk are the worst for bugs they love headlights, we get bad seasons when they are out at all times. We have to cover the front of the/car air inlet to the radiator with flyscreen mesh, otherwise you will get stranded with radiator covered in bugs.
Here in the South we have a "Love Bug" season sometimes twice a year. They are terrible to remove and the acid in their bodies will actually remove the paint.
An old trick is to spray the front of the car with PAM cooking spray. Its just vegetable oil and harmless to the finish and easily washes off with soap and water. Not for use on the windshield!

yeah, lol, the border is a little slack along there. I get to P'Cola often, they let me through without troubles. I go to the Naval Museum on occasion, been yourself? Awesome place.

I watched the Naval Museum evolve from a few static displays into a fantastic place. Anyone that appreciates engineering should visit. Its crazy what pilots used to fly.
You can even grab a cold draft beer and a hot roast beef sandwich at the place now. More reason to make a visit!
