I just had two new tires mounted on the rear of my 1995 and they mounted the sawblades backwards. Can I just switch the two from side to side or is there anything else I should consider that I am not aware of?
Performance tires are directional so you need to check the tire rotation before swapping sides. There should be an arrow on the side wall noting the direction of rotation. If there is no direction indicator, and they are all season tires, they can probably be swapped.

If the tires are directional, they will need to be removed and swapped on the wheels. The tire shop that installed them backwards should do it for free, as the wheels are marked right and left and they did the screw up.

They owned up to their mistake and corrected it. The original shop was 250 miles away as my tire problem cropped up while attending the Black Hills Corvette Classic. They allowed me to correct the problem at another of their stores closer to my home. The person I talked to there was amazed that they didn't know about the wheels. He gets a lot of Corvettes in his store. The store I corrected it at billed the other store, so I was only out my time to bring it in and have it done. All is well with my Corvette again.
