Need an interior accessory/lighting schematic
Just got back from a long wet trip in my 96 LT4. After getting home and starting to unload, the hatch release button on the driver door didn't work. (but the console and fob buttons do) Also noticed that the courtesy lights don't come on when the driver door is opened, but they do work when the passenger door is opened. This leads me to believe that my problem is in the driver door part of that shared circuit. I pulled out the hatch switch from the door and shorted across it and got no response. Then I tried the console button and fob buttons and it pops right up.
The manual my wife got for me (she had good intentions) doesn't have a schematic for what I'm looking for. Is there a posting somewhere or can anybody supply me with the schematic pages I need to track down what is common to the door hatch release button and the courtesy lights as it relates to only the driver door?
