I'm on my 5th Corvette. A 2001 Millenium Yellow C5, a 2010 Cyber Gray Grand Sport C6, 1994 Arctic White C4, 1994 Polo Green ZR-1, 1996 Collector's Edition Sebring Silver. All Automatics (except the ZR-1) and all Coupes.
We Gone: I'm loving your Private Road line up, all your C4s past & present.
Questions for ZR1 Owners: Driving Stick vs Automatic - Did you have to make an adjustment? Is the ZR1 clutch hard to press? Any guy here have physical issues or limitations that prevented you from buying the C4-ZR1 or it's not that bad? I'm trying to get an idea if it's worth buying the ZR1 or another easy on the legs Auto C4 because I have a bad hip joint.
I've had 3 C4s. First one was and is my 93 Ruby coupe. Wife wanted a Corvette shortly after I got mine and we found her a 93 Ruby vert. Turned out she didn't drive it much and knew I wanted a ZR1. Found a 94 ZR1 and sold hers. A few years later she wanted one again and we bought a C5. A customer of mine was selling a C6 that was pristine so I bought that to replace the C5 and sold the C5. Wife had a stroke (which she recovered from) and wasn't comfortable driving the C6 (too much power for her). I sold the ZR1 to pay off the C6. Currently have the Ruby coupe that I've owned for 25 years and the C6. C4s are great cars and the C6 is just as good and better in a lot ways!
