I love my flowmasters (3 chamber). Not too loud. Not too quiet. They really sound mean when you're getting on it though. No problem with resonance at all. My only complaint is having to repaint the tips every other spring.
Welcome to CF! I'm just a cruiser, and the mods on my '88 work very well for just that little extra torque and street performance that I like to use once in awhile. I'm always amazed by what this car is capable of.
Have fun!

OK, I am a brand new Corvette owner, and of course I want to start making mods for off the line performance. I am thinking Flowmaster mufflers, K&N filter and open the box (however that is done) a hypertech chip, and get rid of the frisbee (?). Any suggestions?
Welcome to the Forum!! I'm living in Riviera Oaks iin C park for now, should be moving in a few weeks. Wave if ya see me!!
Love my Flows. Won't wake the neighbors at idle, rumbles at cruise and roars at WOT. When you do the frisbe, just place one 5/16 washer and one 5/16 lock washer under each bolt. Another free / cheap mod is the TB bypass. Oh, BTW, Welcome. :seeya
I have the two chamber flows and I'll be honest, they're very loud. In fact, they're so loud that I personally wouldn't recommend them on a daily driver. But since mine isn't a daily driver, they sound like music to my ears. Yes, they do resonate a bit (actually more than a bit), but when you put your foot in it everyone within three blocks knows you mean business :jester
Welcome!
I have the Flowmaster Cat-back on my Grand Sport. I love the sound.
I live in Pflugerville!
Do you know about "Corvettes at the Diamond"
Check out the club site at http://www.longhorncorvette.com, get registered and come on out. Actually, you don't have to register just to come out and see the cars if you don't want to be in the judging. It's free for spectators. There will be over 200 Corvettes there. You can probably get to see/hear just about any exhaust system made.

Welcome, :seeya
I have muffler eliminators, and gutted cats, so I can't very well go sneaking around, even at idle you can hear my car inside a house. when I stil had cats on there just the eliminators with the tips I have didn't have too much resonance and weren't loud enough to wake the neighbors, and with the radio on you couldn't hear them on the highway
