Bearings are probably shot, make a paperweight out of it and put on a A.I.R. delete pulley.
If local smog nazzies don't do a visual under hood, with a modern hi-flow cat you should still easily pass smog.
Plus you can then clean up the front of the engine by removing all that AIR crap.
