My bar graphs are loosing readability and my tach is unreadable and the speedo is getting bad. However Fuel, temp, milage, op are still readable. Any suggestion on who knows how to rebuild these dashes without getting ripped off? I heard some guys charge $500.00.
I have a '84 cluster for sale if you are interested. It was updated back in 2010. I don't need it any longer because I recently switched to a Vettaid analog gauge cluster. $150 plus shipping. PM me if you are interested.
$150 is a steal. The LCDs are worth about $360 alone. You can buy new ones on eBay from "witchcityeng" or go to Vettesport.com. Last I checked they were $119 each. Repair of the clusters usually will not include new LCDs and the $500 "rebuild/repair" ones will surely have functional but not new ones. My dash works fine but I still need two more LCDs.
Replacing them isnt hard but MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS POSITIONED CORRECTLY BEFORE SCREWING IT BACK TOGETHER!!!! There are little rubber bumpers and a spring clip to contend with. BE CAREFUL!!!!!
The one shown lit up is not an 84 dash. The price is great and it should work ok.

Actually, that is my '84 dash. If you check the mileage every image shows 81297.5 on the odometer. The cluster is just sitting in a box right now and I'd rather see it helping someone else out.
I have a Doug Nash 4+3 in need of a rebuild for sale too.

That is a different year dash. The 84 had a different design, especially around the center area, it had 4 rectangles whereas the later ones had 2 but still had the same info just don't want the op to not know he is getting a later year cluster. It looks like a great cluster and well worth the price.

That's interesting info. The cluster I have was a rebuilt one I purchased as an exchange for my old one back in 2010. I was not aware of the differences.
