Issue with AMP
Hey all, I have the issue that many have with the squealing noise coming from the speakers from the front and rear on the passenger side. Its not too big a deal but i figured after seeing a couple write ups on replacing the capacitors i figured i would try it out. I was able to pull the old capacitors off and replace them with new ones i ordered. i followed the write up from this guy https://www.corvetteforum.com/articles/c4-bose-amp-fix/ . Now the issue is that after i replace the 2 capacitors one of them blows after 1-2 seconds when i turn the radio on. Even after it blows i do get music from that speak but there is also a lot of static with it. I replaced the capacitor 3 times and each time is blows with in 1-2 seconds of turning the radio on. The old ones had leaked but were not blown. Any idea of why the one capacitor keeps blowing? I dont know too much about how capacitors work so im not really too sure of where to start. Thanks for any help!
Edit - I discovered the capacitors i ordered are polarized so i might have been installing them reversed as i didnt think it mattered. Going to see if i had it in the wrong way.
