The guy must have got one hell of a deal on that car and we don't know "the rest of the story" on it either. It might have a pretty sad history of being stolen, flooded or who knows! On the other hand, the C4 has great hot rod ready suspension.
An LT1 engine would probably make one scoot pretty good too. There seems to be a lot of damage free body parts to be had and the interior might yield a treasure of nice parts too. I think he's getting his money back on that car and
then some.

Sent an email to that dude, and I think I called the looney bin. He wants $5,500 for that thing with no powertraint, no drivetrain and no suspension.
I bought The Ghost for $3,500 and drove it home.

You could drive this one home too - as long as it was on the back of a flatbed.

Someone seems to be in a touchy mood today.
For what its worth, Max's comment made me chuckle.

Meh, I'm taking it as a joke. And if he wasn't joking, I'm STILL taking it as a joke!

Now I'm curious what a toe rope would even look like.

What about the C4s perhaps right here on this forum which get modified into a hotrod something or other only the current owner will really want?

It's especially apparent in "home selling shows" where the previous owner has put together something in purple and orange with black marble sink and toilet. Heck, my wife did a bathroom in lime green and black with chrome fixtures. It GLOWED out into the hallway.
BUT .. they liked it. And while it's amusing, I always feel a little uncomfortable laughing at someone else's dream ..
