The Name Thing
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

New to the forum, so hello all!
I think all cars/motorcycles should have names as most have personalities:
Trinity - '77 L48 C3 -Black/built for bracket drag- (divine 3=motor, tranny and rear)
Cameron - '89 IROC-Z -Maroon-
Rocco - '04 Grand Cherokee Limited -Black/4.7L HO-
Biff - '87 F150 -white + rust-
Boodrow - '91 Olds Cutlass Station Wagon
Christy - '91 Cavalier RS -blue/3.1L+5 speed-
The Snob - '85 Honda Sabre V65 1100 (nose is always straight up in the air
)Yet to be decided:
'08 C6 base -black ext on black int, tinted side/rear glass, orig chromie wheels, borla catback w/circular tips-
I've narrowed it down to Sybil or Lexi. I like Sybil cuz the car definitely has multiple personalities (happy as a clam competing on the track, just as happy cruising slow as my DD), but Lexi fits too. Suggestions?
Wanted the name to be simple and inspired by something US Navy ("Admiral" blue) and I've always been interested in WW2. Came across a list of ships and noticed a high speed destroyer escort named Ira Jeffery. That just seemed too perfect (high speed vessel, and my name is Jeffrey - close enough
). When I told my wife I finally named her (Ira) after the other few ideas, she said, "Oh, I like that a lot. Its perfect."

Bought and sold in less than 6 months, right after I replaced the
driver's floor-board (seat track fell through the pan), and re-painted it.
Only 3 years old, but the biggest POS we ever owned.
I've had a few other cars with some choice names, but not the kind of names one effectionately calls objects.
