I've got them on mine. I think they look nice but most people here will tell you it is rice. Put one thing different on your vette and it is just rice

I kinda like different though. I mean I wouldnt put a bookshelf sized whale tail on my vette but something very subtle like say blackouts or louvers I could go for. I kinda like the GS style hash marks too. I generally believe in leaving it (overall) the way the General made it but subtle accents are ok too.
When i bought my 91 vert a few months ago it had them tailight louvers (black) as well as the license plate one. I removed it all as it just wasn't for me. I'd be willing to sell them to you CHEAP if you want em. I am not gonna use them again. It is all mint stuff (like the car) it's just not for me. Let me know if you want them i think the kit is like 70 bucks for the lights and plate but i'll let it go for 40. I'll sell just the lights for 20. Let me know if you are interested. Remember one mans junk is anothers treasure :)

louvers can look tastful, just don't paint 'em flouresant! i like blackouts too.
:yesnod: I have 'em too. Well, only two of them. Years ago, when I put all four of them in with the included wedge, one of them fell out while I was driving. :mad I got mad and took all of them off, drilled small screw holes in two of them then installed only two on the outer brake lights. They've been on tightly ever since. Just be sure to use aluminum or stainless steel screws.
Louvers on the tail lights. Why? I'ts not in any way functional. Window tint-now that is functional. I just can't figure out why people want to change an already beautiful vehicle with non-functional modifications. JMHO, but the money is better spent on keeping it nice than on filling the pockets of the catalog companies.
I've got them on mine because my vette is red and I wanted the tailights to show up when not lit. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have. But I think they look good also blackouts on the front look very nice. NOT RICE
Why is it when somebody adds something to their car to dress it up or to make it more to their liking someone always calls it rice ? One thing that you will notice though is that the one hollering rice usually has something else installed on their car that someone else would consider rice. I really wish these people would leave that word rice in the kitchen and leave it out of the forum. I am really getting where I hate that word.

Why not make it more your stlye? Tons of people here buy different wheels for their car which is probably a reason it isn't considered rice. But when you don't play follow the leader people seem to view it as rice
