not a new vette but
going up to pick up our new sunset orange 4x4 z71 Silverado. More of a thrill for the wife as it will be hers. I will keep driving my o6 Silverado.

mine is a 91. Belonged to my Step dad down florida way. He died, I got it. Never seen snow so no rust issues. He was **** about maintainance so it is almost perfect. 168,000 miles on the 350 (auto) and still cranks right up, no smoke.. just need better than 15 or 16 mpg. No wonder Mom said I could have it. Has the big fuel tank.. on empty it an easy 100 bucks in fuel ...slurp, slurp, lol. Great trucks.

My old one is a 06 ext cab 4x4. It just turned a 100k and has been a good truck. We drove the new one home yesterday. Its Daytona sunset orange and beautiful. It amazes me how much nicer it is then the old one. I guess 10 years in trucks Is like 10 years in vettes and they come a long way in that time. We got rid of the wifes buick verono to get this new one so it will be her truck and the old one will be mine. At least for 5 years till its paid for.

I have an '03 S10 ZR2 (94,000 miles) pickup, and an '01 S10 ZR2 (135,000 miles) Blazer. Can't imagine not having a pickup.
Grats on your purchase .. I think I will wind up keeping these two the rest of my life ..
