Brake front caliper bracket

A typical bolt might be:
8x1.25x35 with a 13mm head.
The 8 would be thread diameter in millimeters.
The 1.25 would be thread pitch (distance between threads)
The 35 would be shank length.
Many folks would call that a "13mm" bolt, because it takes a 13mm wrench/socket. That would be incorrect; it is an 8mm bolt.
Bracket mounting bolts for '84 are M12 X 1.75 x 40, all others ('85 to end of production C4) are M14 X 2.0 X 47
M12 hex is generally M18 hex and M14 is generally accepted to be M21 - there are "exceptions" - reduced head flanged nuts and bolts are one and "heavy" hardware for construction another.
Rear information:
'84 rears are M10 X 1.5 X 32, all others M12 X 1.75 X 30 (likely).
M15 hex for the M10 hardware generally - there are exceptions.
