I have an 88 and have to be honest I'm really getting tired of the digital dash. Mine works perfect and I was looking into purchasing the complete replacement in CC. I guess what I'm asking is if anyone has experience with this replacement? Also , should I hold on to my original dash or does it have decent value? Thanks
That's exactly what I'm talking about but I'm asking if anyone has used them before also if I can get good money for my original 100% working digital dash or should I hold on to it?
They don't usually bring a ton of money used but people will buy them. Id buy yours if its cheap enough and had photos and again others on here would too. But its not going to cover the cost of swapping it out to the other gauges Im sure.

OK , thanks for the info. I would like to try and keep the things I swap out around in case I want to return it to stock but again , it's not like its a 1 of 50 made so I probably won't. Also , wondering if anyone has a picture of a C4 with these auto meter gauges in them.

Actually your exactly like the people he was referring to believe it or not.
Back when the split window was out it was hated by a good bit of folks at the time. They had them cut out and removed back then. Now a car done that way is considered butchered since the split window is worth so much.
Your car do what you want but his reference was actually dead on
Thanks for the info. I come on this forum for fun , to get advice and to help others, not to be judged. Again , thank you for your idea , I will look into it.
Ironically, I'm looking into replacing the instrument cluster but I spent the extra money to have my factory deck rebuilt and have an iPod jack put into it so it looks all factory. Lol
That being said, this thread below does a pretty decent job of replacing the digital dash with an analog. Done correctly with attention paid to making the edges look seamless, this might be pretty nice.
I switched to the Vettaid analog gauges last year on my '84, because I could not get my speedometer to correctly connect to my newly installed Tremec TKO600. Everything works great. I kept my original dash and my DN 4+3.
