1985 dash issues.

Just picked up an 85 corvette and shockingly the atari dash is messing up. With the key on, it lights up perfectly, but start it and everything craps out. A few things light up, but not enough to read. Searched and couldn't find anything. My gut says it's a grounding issue, any ideas?

It is quite common to have problems with the connectors that join the two dash PC boards. See Bryan's video for more info:

I get the connector issues, I just don't know why it would light up fine until it starts.

I agree, sounds like a ground issue...take it apart and you may find that there is bad solder on a ground...I also know that Bryan at batee.com is a very gracious person and helpful. Seems like the guru when it comes to Corvette electronics.
