Trailer Towing
. We have power wheelchairs that we have used at some events, but we carry them in a Chrysler T&C (Sorry, won't fit in a Vette
) and so we have to unload them outside the event. We have acquired a small lightweight trailer with a ramp door with room for both our chairs, that we could probably get past the entrance. What I am looking for is information from anyone who has towed a trailer with their Vette, such as weight, hitch info, mods made to the Vette such as spring & shock mods, etc.
We are hoping to make sume of this summer's events as a participant instead of a spectator.
TIA, Marty
Hope that helps, Good Luck.
My hat is off to you sir and I hope this is what you are looking for.

With your small trailer & small load a Vette will handle 100# (SWAG) tongue weight without modification.
Suggest a road test as is, if you deem anything extra is required like sway control or more spring etc those items can be added as you see fit.
It will give an idea of specific weights on the hitch.
I can say that I pulled it with a new f150 4x4 and it did put a load on the rear....headlights were pointing up a bit....if if wasn't such a hassle loading it, I was going to try to back it on to relieve weight on the hitch..it did tow fine with the engine on the front...except for gas milage
