Default build sheet

Well, I got my build sheet for my 94 through today, only took less than three weeks, half what they estimated! I've just got to work out how to interpret it now, lots more info than the label on the console lid, it did tell me it wasnt shipped directly to the UK from Bowling Green, apparently it went to Lowes Chevrolet in Upper Marlbro MD,(did Lowes export cars for GM?) I'd like to be able to trace it from there but dont suppose that's possible, but never mind, at least it's parked outside my house right now, THAT'S what matters..

Does your car have all of the appropriate EXPORT options noted on the CONSOLE LID and confirmed on the PRODUCTION sheet.

Many things are possible. The PO/ORIG OWNER likely made the purchase at Lowe or because of their location to appropriate shipping ports maybe they did the courtesy prep and delivery inspections for GM.

I did go through the console sticker a while ago, as I recall there was nothing to suggest it was an export model, also it does have the US mirrors I believe so it was likely intended for the home market originally, but then you never know with cars..as you intimated, it's not always as clear cut.

If the SPID label and the production sheet don't display the EXPORT options then it was just a purchase/delivery to Lowe. It certainly could have been the intention to "ship to" the UK by the OO all along and not being familiar with what might have been required in the UK to do the import it's difficult to respond any more accurately.

It's in your drive and like you mentioned that's the only relevant issue. The rest really unimportant.
