I was just about to start a purchase of a 95 vert 6 speed with 58k on it when my wife gave me some news, she retired. She said she could not turn down the offer she got and since she was going to do it at the end of this year anyway and she ends up with more with the offer, she took it. So if I want to purchase the 95 I would need to sell the 92 because of the parking situation, and apparently I can't drive 2 at the same time.
That would not work, she does not care about economy and keeps reminding me about it every time she tells me she will blow the doors off my vette with her G8 GXP and she would with that 6 speed LS3.. The parking is just something I brought up, really hate to park it outside, the babies are in the garage. The main reason for not having another c4 is I won't have much time to drive it. Now that she's retired we will be traveling quite a bit and having 7 cars sitting at home waiting to be driven is too much to think of. If anyone is interested its on sf bay area cl and is located in Sebastopol CA Im sure it can be had for 7500. Damm that G8 is fun to drive.
I know what I would do! I would just stand right up to her and tell her NO WAY! Get back to work! .............. Just kidding. I hope she enjoys her retirement and maybe you two can be able to relax a little bit in life. I'm sure she earned her retirement. Congrats to her!
Some people have 2 C4's. One daily driver and one racer.
I have 2 C4's and a C5.
Not a racer and a driver though. I like working on them. I generally buy something that may need a little work and fix them up. I keep them a few years while working on them and then sell it for something else. So I keep some coming in and some going out.
A few exceptions though, I kept my '85 for 25 years. I also had an '88 and a '94 for daily drivers while I was doing a 100 mile per day commute. Those were not to fix up, but simply to make the drive better.

If you like working on cars alot, then the C4 Corvette is definitely the car to own... ........WW
Any chance of selling one of the current cars to make room for another C4, kimmer? Or you could just park it outside with a cover. But I know why that would pain you, haha.
Am I the only one around here with 2 cars for 2 people?

What the hell DinoBob! When I bought a new car I kept the one it was replacing cause you dont get squat for them. So I have a few cars, It's my hobby working and playing with them don't you have a hobby? A couple of them were inherited and mean a lot to me. another I kept as a project to fix after a drunk hit my wife nearly head on and so on. Unless you know someones reason for doing something don't be so dam sarcastic.
Not telling you what to do, but it seems you are tired of your car. I just had the chance at a COMPLETE stick conversion for $1200 SHIPPED from a vendor here that parts cars. Never seen your car but I'd bet it would be the best 1200 you could put in it.
