Interior Lights
For the cargo, again use a thin flat head screwdriver and pry the housing off the halo section.
To do the doors, I removed the door skin off my 89, but have read others post that you may be able to pry the housing forward to expose the bulb.
I never did the footwell area, but I think you need to remove the carpeted panel to get to the bulbs.
Your digital dash has 4 illumination bulbs and 3 indicator bulbs. When you remove the front bezel (instructions on youtube, etc) you can hope to be fortunate enough to remove the bulbs from the front without removal of the dash. I managed to remove the 3 small indicator bulbs this way, but on one of the illumination bulbs, the base behind it broke a clip and I had to remove the dash, which wasn't really that bad afterall. I bought new twist bases and replaced the others while I was in there.
The Driver's Information Center (door ajar, service engine soon, etc) has 12 bulbs. The bezel comes off with a phillips screwdriver.
The function select switches (Oil pressure/Oil temp, coolant/volts, etc) houses 2 bulbs and it comes off after the console bezel is removed. Pretty straight forward when you get this far. The cover can be pried off pretty easily to expose the bulbs, same with the DIC.
The heater control unit can also be removed after the console bezel is removed. You'll need to also take out the shifter console area screws to access the bottom 2 bolts on the heater control unit. Mine had clips on each side, removed them and removed the heating unit from it's housing. This has 3 small bulbs you need to twist the base counter clockwise to remove, allowing the bulb to come out and change bulb. Twist base clockwise to set.
This was what I had found worked for me on my 89. Yours may be different. Some LED bulbs only work one direction, so if it doesn't illuminate, rotate the bulb 180 degrees and reseat it.
What I found worked for me while doing the DIC. I pulled all the bulbs, opened my door and tried putting a bulb in the door ajar spot. I think it's the top row, second one in going from memory. If that lit up, I installed it in that direction in another bulb spot. I continued this process so that I know all the bulbs were installed the right direction and would light up when requested upon.
Good luck, you'll love the new look.
There is a fairly long pair of wires on the connector, so it's easy to pull the lamp out and replace the bulb.

After the panel is out (wires do not need to be disconnected) take the 2 screws holding the door light against the panel. The light can be opened by unclipping on the end marked "Push".
The floor lights will snap out. The biggest problem is determine which end to pry out.
