It may be a little rare nowadays, however, seeing vettes towing boats and campers in the 70s was a common sight. My dad pulled our "Scotty" camper all over the place with his 1971 big block. Truck engine, steel frame, stout tranny= great tow vehicle.

Seriously, I was wondering what a "Little Boy" Hiroshima bomb mock-up (I hope) was doing on the road. Ray Road exit 159 is in Chandler AZ.
Being former USAF and curious, I did some research and just read that the USAF museum at Wright-Pat had sent its display "Little Boy" to Sandia Labs in NM for restoration. Must have been delivering to or from the airport/air base.
I'd love to hear why a C4 Corvette was the tow vehicle of choice.
