Default Power programmer reuseable.....

If it is reuseable, is someone willing to program my fans to come on sooner on a '96 LT4. I'm willing to share a part of the purchase cost.

One more question: I removed my air foil from my '86 and tried to install it in the '96 but the "pin" will not fit in the opening/slot. Pin is too big. Catalog claims 85-96, what gives?

Sorry, can only program one car at a time. It stores 1 vin number and can only be used on that vin number car, unless the car is returned to the stock settings, then it can be used on another car. Guess Hypertech doesn't like shareware. Someone here will chime in for ya regarding a switch from Ecklers ( I think ) that is a manual fan switch you can install. 10 to 15 bucks I think. Good Luck

I don't want a switch, I KNOW I would forget to turn it on, and then the fans don't come on AT ALL.

I was thinking about selling mine but I don't know if it would work on a '96 LT4. I was thinking about selling it and buying a cable and LT1EDIT software, using my new Compaq notebook PC to try my hand at DIY custom ECM editting.

You could always get someone with LT1 edit to reprogram for you. It would have to be a commercial copy rather than a single use unless you buy it for yourself. I don't know much about it, but I do have friends who have it.
