There's an exclusive area in this part of Florida called Black Diamond. They put on their 2nd annual car show with 200 cars invited. You had to submit a picture of your car for entrance and the fee was $30. With that, you received a nice embroidered golf shirt and an 8X10 of your car taken by a professional photographer in front of a world famous quarry on the golf course. The cars themselves ranged from an XKE to a Rolls Royce and everything in between with Corvettes of all years making a large contribution. Supposedly judging was by professionals but most of the preople I spoke with said they only spent 1 or 2 minutes (if that) looking at most of the cars. I'm not sure of the judging criteria but I didn't win nor most of the people in my Corvette club.

Just kidding, very cool place. Tiger Woods shot a few Buick commercials in there back in the day. I'll need to head back up that way sometime.

Gorgeous setting for a show. Your car looks great!

The shirt and photo alone are worth a lot more than $30, so it looks like that was a pretty nice bonus.
