I'm pretty sure you meant Power Locks, John. They were an option in 84-87. In 88 they became standard equipment. So did cruise control. Roughly 1,000 of each year from 84-87 did not have cruise control.
All C4's have power windows. Crank windows were never available on C4.
Rear window defogger became standard equipment in 89.
I've inspected scores of C4's. I've only seen one with the CB radio. That is probably the rarest option on any year if you exclude non-standard color combinations.

That "red 86" also had a manual driver seat. And because of that deal, it had a steel spare wheel. I've never heard the engineering or marketing reasoning behind an aluminum / steel spare being associated with power /non-power driver seat.
Cheers.

Looks like a 91 turquoise metallic car.
Find a 1990 or 1991 Turquoise metallic convertible with a 6 speed and you have a very rare car. Even the coupes are hard to find in that color with 6 speed. IIRC they made 11 6 speed convertibles in turquoise over both model years.

I believe you to be incorrect on the 1991's anyway, they made 93 Turq. Met. conv.'s with a black int. with a 6 Spd as well as 15 6 Spd's conv.'s with the saddle/tan int.

I looked in my Corvette Black Book and saw a few rarities. In 1984 there was only ONE yellow Corvette. And yellow was not used agin until 1986.
Also in 1986, there were only 4 Copper Metallic Vettes. In 1987 there were only 87 Copper Metallics and that color was only used one more time in 1994 on 116 cars. I'd say that is the rarest of colors.

So, as a serious question, would one of those super-rare cars such as "the only yellow '84" be more valuable, or just more interesting?
