I have a question on how you can figure the exact number of say colors painted on a convertible per year. I have a '95 with the bright aqua metallic and I looked up on the vettefacts.com site and it shows 909 '95 vettes were painted with this color. Am I safe to assume that since aprox. 1/4 of the 909 were convertibles then that would mean aprox. 227 '95 convertibles were painted this color?

Is there anyway to find out for sure how many of these had tan tops and tan interiors and how many had the 6 speed option with the FX3 suspension package etc. Just wondering as I have not seen another '95 with my colors and options. My guess is less than 70 were set up like mine but just not sure how to tell.

The answer to all your questions in this post is "no".

What are these cars worth? Are they real gems, especially the 1 or f 2.

For the 85 corvette there were only 16 made with the factory installed CB radio. That would be pretty neat to see one of those still working.

My 85 is odd as well, No cruise, no rear defrost, no high end Bose. Just the cheap radio. Somebody was pinching pennies when they got this one.

My Uncle used to have a 1987 with zero options. Later found out the original person ordering it wanted to make it a race car, but just never did.

While not especially rare, I've never seen another one that had neither power seats or power door locks...

1071 did NOT have a power driver seat in 87

884 did NOT have power door locks in 87

it DID however have Cruise Control, the AM-FM Casette and Vanity Mirror options.

My 1994 black on black LT1 coupe has the six speed and little else. No power seats, came with base sound system, and painted targa top. No climate control either. Base suspension. Somebody along the way replaced the top with a transparent one. Probably not rare, but makes for a bare bones kinda driving experience, especially with the 3.45 rear gears and six speed.

The numbers being presented on rarity of older Corvettes are a guess, calculated by extrapolating from the number of cars made and the number of options made. There were no records kept, and GM certainly didn't follow any guidelines as to what percentage of coupes or convertibles got any combination of options. So, while it's unlikely to have happened, it's theoretically possible that all a/c cars were on coupes, or all white interiors were on red cars, etc. When you see a statement that a 67 Corvette is one of ??? with a certain combination, it's just a guess based on how the percentages would work if each option and each combination of options followed the total percentage calculation. So it's an educated, but incorrect guess.

My 1990 ZR-1 is one of 124 with Manual AC (C60).

From the database on the ZR-1 Registry and the options is has:

It is 1 of 2
Black with Red interior
C60 Manual AC
Painted roof only

The 1987 - 1991 RPO B2K Callaway Twin Turbo Corvettes were built in few numbers. 510 built the entire run, they were powerful, rare, and unique.

That is very hard to determine; for any kind of accurate estimate on price I would say the cars needed to be validated by an outside source with no attachment to the cars. As to the condition of the cars. The GS (the 1 of 2 car) has 7.8K miles, most of the plastic still on the interior, zero modifications, and original everything. The GS was signed by Dave McLellan, Dave Hill, John Heinricy, Jim Minneker, and Will Cooksey. (Photos Here) As to gems or not that is up to someone else to decide. I love the cars for what they are. Every owner has different tastes, budgets, and reasons for having a car. I enjoy cars that are unique and special, cars with a back story or ones you do not see every other day. Those are the types of cars that grab my attention.

I have had the car apart for almost the entire 2 years of ownership fixing things with no end in site. It is a fun and unique project. The car would have been destine for part out or the scrap yard. The best part is the guy I purchased the car from had owned it since 1995 and never knew it what the car was. To him it was an old red vette

I still need to find the right B2K car or the Callaway Lemon Soda racer

Default rare combo

I have two rare optioned/low production C4's.... my 91 white conv. has the blue int. blue conv. top. They only made 162 blue conv. tops that year. According to the CBB, white wasn't a one of the colors the blue top came on, only the Stl Blu Met, and the Turq. came with the blue top option. Back in the early days Corvette Museum Archive section would tell you info if you asked the right question...not anymore of course. They told me you could override the order sheet and get it on white cars. No Turq. cars where ordered with a blue top, and 66 Stl Blue cars had blue tops. So 96 Wht cars where ordered with blue tops. All blue top cars had the blue int. My car is 1 of 2 91 white/blue/blue, auto trans, manual seats, manual a/c, FE1 suspen., base cass. radio cars built.

My 96 yellow LT4 cpe is 1 of 3 that came with the grey int., 1 car had the FE1, 1 had the F45, and my car has the Z51....so 1 of 1

And as mentioned before, that doesn't mean they're worth anything, just unusual combinations and good conversation starters at the shows.

somebody does for all 96's... There actually used to be a very detailed data base on production numbers for all ’96 Corvettes.
It was a link on Wright State University web site at http://www.wright.edu/~mathews.5/
Broken down were exterior/interior color combos, + LT1/LT4 Engines.
FE1, F45, Z51 Suspensions etc.
