It's getting colder and the nice days to take a cruise are getting few and far between. I'm jealous of all those who live in climates where you can take your vette out year around. I'm from st.louis and around here winter means cold temps, icey roads, occasional snow, and potholes. Starting to think about a vacation down south.

I'm just up I-55 from ya, and I hate having to put the cars away too. I'm thinking about moving a bit farther south myself!
That said, WINTER is the season for modifications!! This season I'm hoping to install a pair of those C6 type "flappers" on a set of Dynamax 17228 mufflers (3" inlets, 2+" open, twin outlets) to complete my exhaust upgrade, AND have the TB bored out from the stock 58mm to 63mm and re-tune it (trying so squeeze 445 rwhp out of the stock cams).
I'll have to let you know in the spring how it goes. Something to look forward to tho!

Seems warmer this year up north so far. Can still get the car out in winter in MD. now and then on sunny dry days--- but those summer tires are rock hard which accentuates the c4 pounding noise if you hit a pot hole or bump.
My 95 saw snow already this year, quit being a wuss. The day I put a car up for winter storage is the day I own something far more rare and valuable then a c4. It may sit a day or two if we get heavy snow but I almost prefer to drive performance cars in the colder months. Let it warm up for 10 min in the morning and have at it. I think letting anything sit, winterized or not isn't a good idea. I hate doing it with my fz1 motorcycle. My daily driver rsx sits more then my vette and bike.

I grew up in st. Louis and moved to the Houston area in 82' and haven't missed the snow and ice one bit. we go up there every Christmas and can't wait to get back to the warmer temps of the south. currently I took a contract job up in Connecticut but i'm leaving this thurs morning to go back to Houston before the sh*t hits the fan here.
Bought another convertible tonight since it seems the weather is going to be decent all winter long. Bought a mazda miata. Wife wanted a convertible to drive some since she is kinda of scared of the vette I bought power wise. So now we have 2 of convertibles.
