The latest issue of Corvette Magazine has a price guide for the C4 models. I will send you my issue as I am done with it. Just send me a PM with your mailing address.
I don't agree with most of the prices in it though as I think they are a bit high.
My opinion is that basically most of these price guides and valuation services are an educated guess.
The best way to become educated is to read this Forum and page through the listings of the C4s here on the Forum.
You can also look at the sold C4s on eBay to help determine a market value.
It has always been said that you should buy the lowest mileage, latest model that you can afford. I also advise that it is a good idea to buy one that has been fanatic maintained - even if it has higher miles.
If you find one you like then have someone who lives near the car go and test drive it for you. Make sure this person has owned a C4 in the past and is familiar with what to look for. You can post a request in the appropriate Events and Regional section to find this person. Pay them for their time and do not be afraid to fly in and drive home.

Can you post any of the pricing information here from the mentioned article?
I'm sure this is a ball park national average. Prices can vary a lot state to state and even town to town. When I bought my 1990 last year the average price in my area was about $10,000 and I got it for $8,000. I would rate mine between good to excellent condition with low miles (59,000). I seen some with lower prices but with mileage over 100,000 and needing considerable work.
Check out www.cargurus.com. They have many C4's listed and show the market value and indicate if it is a good, fair,or poor buy based on asking price and mileage. You can search for cars on varying distances from your home zip code. They also show how long the car has been listed and any price drops by date. You can still find many good, low mileage C4's for under $10,000, especially at this time of year.
When I was looking last year --- of all the guides (kbb, edmunds, nada),
Nada seemed the closest to the real world -- but "real world" pricing is the most timely.
