Default Intermediate Shaft bolt

as title says anyone know what size the bolt is that hold the shaft to the collar coming from the firewall? size, length, pitch? thanks i know the head of the bolt took a 1/2" / 13mm wrench so i wanna assume its 5/16" but i tried a bolt that was 5/16 was too loose in threads

A quick first read I thought you were talking about the intermediate shaft to the steering column at the top but you added your thoughts and it got confusing. I'll let you "pick it" and I'll explain.

In this image #95 at the top is position #2 the dimensions listed in the page BUT the lower #95 isn't, the part # in the list 7847298 is the longer of the two and the dimensions (M10X1.5X40.3) are correct. The lower bolt is #1 I believe and M10X1.5X31 - I thought I had an intermediate shaft to confirm but I don't. The lower part # would be 26005756 I believe.

Here's an eBay intermediate shaft with the bolts so you can rationalize maybe the information that I passed on above.

If you want something other than what I pointed out, mention which and I'll confirm for you.

#95 is the correct bolt, its the bolt that connects the shafts together, has the nut infused on the collar and this bolt tightens it down to hold them together. Thanks
