I've been wrestling, trying to install a new
Inside hood release lever,
I've got the shop manual and have searched the Internet and not getting much
Help
I had it installed but wasn't happy with it so took it apart again
Can any of the me help?? Photos would be nice

The release lever should be simple to install , it only has a pin for the lever to swivel on and then hook up the 2 wires in the slots to pull the cables..I had trouble getting the pin to fit in and hold , so I just used a nut and bolt in it's place.....You will need to adjust the cables but that is done on the outside where the cable hooks into the metal slot that holds it...Exactly what are you having trouble with ....WW...
PS....What year is your car, you always need to include this....

Good work, do yourself a favor, and either buy, or create emergency release cables.
They come in handy just in case, and can save you from a disaster in trying to get the hood open.
