Seat replacement
Hello out there I have probably the stupidest question of the day it is time to replace the seats in the 86 and I have been looking around for seats and I found some at ECKLERS for 729 💰
I just want to replace the original seats with the same and take out the one's I got and put them in the attic for latter
So here is the stupid question can I just buy the whole seat or do I have to redo mine
Cause as I read it says COVER and FOAM kit with at the bottom the option of THEM doing it for 1k
So am I reading this wrong or is it a misprint cause under SEAT COVERS they sell options starting at 330 💰
So what is the deal does anyone know and before anyone post how stupid I am I know it's a stupid question I've NEVER done seats before thanks

so for 700 I'm just getting pieces ok so I'll look at that post
Just a side note is it hard to do cause I was looking at my seat and to me it looks like everything sits in the black frame part and just pops out
P.S I allways wondered what that little levar behind the headrest does I thought it made the seat go forward but their is no backseat

The lever does allow the seat to pop forward. If you opt for seat covers mounted on foam it will be the easiest job you have ever done, 20 minutes for both sides. If you opt for the new covers only make sure your foam is excellent or the will look like crap.

What a bum deal I thought I was sitting on a real seat but it was just a beach cooler this hole time 
and after all these years I did the lever behind the headrest and it does make the seat lean forward I can see that being used on a convertible now that I know that I'm ready to move furniture

New seat and foam beside the old seat
New foam will make all the hassle of installing the new leather feel much better. In other words when you sit in your seat it’s more of sliding in instead of sinking down.
