You'll want to see if the speakers themselves are bad or the amps, which may need capacitors, as posted in other threads.

I already done the trouble shooting, it the speakers, I have 2 that are dead
I put a couple of speaker I had here and they work ok , just thought I'd replace them with something new rather than 30 year old speaker, I don't know might be best to go with the original Bose

Direct replacement for both fit and impedance, how many of you knew the early C4 speaker was sourced from the Bose 901?
