I have a 84corvette were getting ready to replace rear y pipe and mufflers.
The car runs great shifts great.
But you fire her and go to pull out she doesn't want to go anywhere let off gas goes little better.
Were thinking cat is clogging up.
Any ideas

If it's an automatic then it's not going to shift properly if the exhaust is plugged.

It won't pull out and and barely moves you. Have lightly give it gas and takes long time to shift.
Plus right now mufflers are off and there's barely any pipe left rust out also it not even loud it was loud at one time with holes in pipes but now you wouldn't know it doesn't have mufflers.
