I have had my 96 LT4 for a few years, but know very little about the mechanics. I bought it for my 10 year old grand son. When I first bought it I had the opti spark replaced and new wires. I was driving it a few days ago and it was running fine and then it started missing like it was starving for fuel. Got it home and turned it off. Now if I try to crank it, it turns over for like 30-40 seconds before it will crank and then the tach doesn't work. If I recrank it immediately when I turn it off it will crank right up. I put a scanner on it and it gives me a P0372 code. Any ideas. Thanks for the help.

there is a concern with the high resolution signal from opti to ecm. Check connections for opti. If you are going to attempt to DIY you need a FSM and a DVOM at the minimum. It is possible the opti has failed, but it should be diagnosed vs "shot gunning a new one in' and hoping it fixed.
