I was attaching my GPS suction mount to my plastic targa and noticed how easily the thing "bongs" like a drum when you give it a little thump. I'm wondering if they are a major contributor to the dreaded C4 DRONE. Do the hard painted tops cut down on the drone any when compared to the clear tops, or is there any noticeable difference?
I know......
My plain exhaust sounds like regular c4's with cutouts, The drone in my car just off idle and between 55-60 is pretty intense. I would like to really here how much drone people are getting.

No Difference.
Pologreen1... a Y-pipe or H-pipe in your exhaust will significantly cut your drone at cruising speeds.
The best thing is some type of "Thicker" insulation and acoustical mat on the entire interior. Won't help much with vibration just noise. Not sure what you have for exhaust but mine is quitter now than when it was stock with flowmaster mufflers. I am currently running LT's, X-pipe to 3" pipe with no cats or mids and Dynomax mufflers. Also have poly bushings which will not help with road vibrations at all.
