Help!!!
My '90 Corvette has a speedometer gauge that is not readable unless I turn on the parking lights in the daytime.
When I start the engine, the speedometer reads with normal brightness, but when I put the key in the "run" position, it gets so dim that I cannot read it. I checked the instrument bulbs, and have an old speedo gauge that I tried. The same result.
Is it the light sensor? If so, where is it-at the center of the dash near the windshield?
