Well today I scored in what I feel was a great buy. I got an 1989 Corvette, 82,xxx miles, great interior, and paint. Now the downsides...1. Need Brake Hardware kits for all 4 corners all calipers rattle. 2. Need to pull the passenger side mirror and get it working. 3. Drivers Seat, power stuff is non functional. 4. Need to change the half shaft U-joints. 5. Needs Weatherstripping for both windows, and the molding at the base of the window and the door.
Very nice! I'm going to look at an 84 next weekend. I'd be ok with a C3 or C4 running project. Looks like you have one that won't take much to be a daily.
Thanks, I dont think I did too badly, as I only gave $5200 for it...Now just have to work out the issues. Put about 150 miles on it today, got an average of 24 mpg
Yeah that pesky antenna...and an inoperative cruise control...cargo cover that doesn't retract, a missing hood prop rod, I think that's it.
Anyone have a lead on a Factory Service Manual? As my experience with Haynes and Chilton's is they make good fire starting material...and not much else..
