Default Tail light not working

I was at a car show today and noticed that the outside left tail light was out on a fellow club member's 1985 C4. I own a C6 and know much about C4s. I don't see any access screws. I would like to help him out because he has a bad back and doesn't have strong mechanical skills.

Thanks

The outer are most frequently serviced by removing the socket from the lamp by either removing the outer wheel-house liners or working around them, many mention reaching around the muffler. Another approach might be through thru license plate opening, removing the B/U lamp, the inner tail and reaching thru that opening to remove the bulb socket.

Socket is a depress and twist conventional GM 90° socket. Bulb is 2057 or whichever your local AP store currently offers as a replacement for it.

X2 remove inner to get to outer. 10mm small wrench should loosen them up if I remember
