'Vette spotting
Leaving the mall yesterday, I walked past a parked, beautiful blue C7 coupe on the way to my red '96. While exiting the parking area, a white C4 coupe crosses right in front of me. We had the wave. Just a nice red, white and blue 'vette moment.
All in all, good start to a pleasant drive home.

Stopped by Krispy Kreme Donuts this morning to show them my "I Voted" sticker, and pick up my free donut. Right in front of me in the drive thru lane was a black '89! Instant friendship! Thank you, Krispy Kreme!
Had to get a blood draw yesterday, and sitting right next to me in the waiting area was a 2015 'vette owner. Instant friendship! We kept talking as the needles were going into our arms. I think the phlebotomists thought we were a little strange, but it did put a smile on their faces!
In addition, my financial advisor just showed up in his new yellow C7R!
Life's good!

I was getting fuel in my silver/grey '86 coupe when a red '15 coupe pulled in at the next pump.
Pleasantries/Compliments with the driver and he came over to check out my '86. He then sent several minutes reminiscing about taking road trips with his dad and his younger brothers in his dad's then new '85.
A chance encounter like this left a fellow 'vette owner with a smile on hi face as he remembered a happy time in his teen years.

My wife, also an avid Corvette person, and I play "The Corvette Game" and keep score when traveling.
Players accumulate points not only for calling out one when we see it, but additional points for series (i.e., C3, C4, etc) and big points for the MY.
She usually beats me, and is a fun way to break up the otherwise boring trip for groceries or whatever.
Having a wife that is a Corvette nut herself, is a plus, of course!
