It might work real good .........that's what we used to use on C-3s...... we also used to mix resin and fiberglass dust or powder to make a paste... might just work....... the cleaning I think will be the hard part though :seeya

I was just going to gently ply the two surfaces apart and clean with denatured alcohol. Take some clean cloth, pour on some of the denatured alcohol and wipe the surfaces down really well. Then mix up a paste of firberglass repair resin and spread it on the surface. I will probably mask the painted surface so I don't get any of the stuff on the paint. I will also make sure and clamp it with a C-clamp overnight. I hope it works.

I wish you luck.......... I think I would add some crushed fiberglass to make a paste though ........maybe just take a small bit of cloth if you can't get the powder and grind it up........ it would give it some body........ and maybe not be too runny...... work fast because that stuff tends to set up fast....... can you get behind the panel to clamp it?....... great idea..... we used to use cleco fasteners sometimes on C-3s and the had holes to fill....... like I said .good luck with it Mike :seeya

I just removed the inner plastic liner over the L/R tire. The screws were easy, one of the three 10mm bolts was easy. The other two were a PITA. Would have been easier if I pulled off the tire. The loose upper panel appears to be bonded on a bracket by a strip of approximately ½ inch. That is what is pulled off. I going to try a product that I used called Marine Tex. It’s an epoxy for plastic and fiberglass. Once dry, it’s like iron. Hopefully, it will hold the panel in place. THe hard part will be getting the entire panel coated. You can't pull them apart very far.

Keep us updated HG, because I will be trying to fix mine soon and will need all the help I can get
