this is from a 1986 corvette though i think these were offered on other years.
a previous bubba painted my interior black. i'd like to return it to normal color (i think) but i first need to see images of what these two colors actually look like. thanks!
I see that mid America also has it,Has anybody purchased the medium gray?I have read some threads on here after searching that the medium grade does not have the silver overtones in it that the OEM did from the factory. The silver overtones are kind of cool and my wife really likes them.
can anybody confirm that the Eckler's or the mid America paint does have the slight silver overtone in the medium gray?
more questions for 84-87 medium grey interior owners...
did the plastics, the medium grey plastic around the base of the center console that goes down beside the seatand inner seatbelt buckle....did that have silver overtones on it?
doesnt look like it but i would like to confirm.
ive been stripping the black paint off and will buy some color match flexible vinyl/plastic dye to match oem so it has a good clean look.
same question for the door sill covers. the arm pd looks like it had a silver overtone like on the leather.
what about the plastic sill cover? thnx!
I can see the gray beneath but I can't tell if it had silvery overtones or if this part of the gray interior was more of a flat gray i've peeled the carpet back here, and a previous owner used some kind of a double-sided strip so ignore that, but you can see the shift from black to silver two gray. I think what I have going on here is that the original gray plastic panels were actually flat finish gray. Then at some point a previous owner painted silver. Then later on another owner painted it black. The silver colour UC as the black paint transitions into the flat gray plastic uncoated plastic. Is why I'm asking if he's orig is there any silver overtone on this plastic under the carpet or is this flat gray?
