I live in Germany and i have the autobon to play on. Just got the vette so i have not pushed her yet, still feeling her out. I will let you know soon :seeya [IMG][/IMG]
198mph and it was very stable had to shut it off due to traffic ahead but it was still accelerating
That's WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too fast for anyone sane to go on public roads!
I'm had mine at... :bb
93 MPH.
EDIT: Were you at all worried about your tires blowing out? I heard a story about a Porsche in France going 215 or so, had a tire blow out and flipped 21 times. End over end, rollover, diagonal. All kinds of flips. Guy lived, it was a race car so it had a roll bar. Those French  (To all you guys that are French, I'm just kiddin', I'm mostly French myself)
164 over a bridge started getting kindof bumpy so I let off didnt want to go over the rail into the ocean would kindof suck and still had a few hundred rpm's(cant remember actual rpm)left to go with 2.73 gears. I topped out on a dyno at 162 @5400 rpms with 3.73 gears.
About 140 on the front straight at Seattle Pacific Raceway, formally known as SIR. Felt good even turning into turn 1 at that speed.
You've got a bunch of serious mods if you can hit 140 going into turn one at SIR. I know full blown ZR-1's fully set up for racing that can barely hit 140 down the straight into turn one!
By the origional speedo, 154. Car has greenwood aero package, and it actually felt better from 110 to 154, than it does from 60- 100. It felt like the car actually sqauted down, like getting heavier, after 110 and had no vibrations. The down side of this bonzi run was the removable top came loose from the mounts. What a noisy air leak!
143 mph uphill on the dames point bridge in jax, fl. then my co-pilot rolled down his window and i felt the aredynamic change in the wheel and sloweDed down... the rear end shifted (or felt like it did) a bit

I just got my first vette last week. I picked it up at Bremerhaven and had a great trip back. I was able to cruise a bit at 135+ but it does take a level of effort that will tire you out after a while. Above 120 or so, you don't want to take your eyes off the road. Anyway... congrats
OK, to be honest, the car wasn't going anywhere at the time - it was strapped onto a dyno machine, and was on 3rd gear (Drive, not overdrive, in an auto tranny)
140 in my old purple 92, auto. ran out of room, but the straight waas ending fast and that was fast enough that day....my new car doesnt feel quite as stable.
